We are so lucky to have Emmanouil as caretaker at The Golden Site.
He is Greek and speaks fluent Danish and English - a welcoming and friendly man who will help you when you arrive at The Golden Site. He is also happy to pick you up at Heraklion Airport for 35 euros before midnight and 45 euros after midnight. You can be completely safe by traveling there yourself, you will be in good hands from start to finish.
